UK phone numbers, both landlines and cellular are 10 digit. You have only 9 digits after 44 which is UK's country code. Moreover, Belfast's area code is 28 for landlines and cell phones in the UK start with 7.

1st of all i like to tell you what is Country Area code.

This code show when you dial any international number like (0044) or ( +44 ) for UK side, ( 0096 ) or ( +96 ) for Saudi Arab , It mean any Country dialing code called ( Country Area code ).

I face that Country Area code problem on 2 Different Black Berry model 8120 and 8700g after unlocking there Country code come from UK.I think Mostly this kind of problem show on that phone who have IT POLICY active on phone.

IT POLICY is another issue in some Black berry phones create Different kind of problem when it is active on any phone depend on it,s policy provider terms. Some time show incoming call problem .some time show outgoing call block problem, some time create Phone lock deactivation problem……….. etc.etc. I will post IT POLICY removing solution too later.

Thia time i am going to post only Country Area code removing solution, Before this i try my all possibility on phone……….like ………..Reset all phone ………..Full flash ……… etc

After all these try when i receive any Miss call and want to dial it show Country Area code +449234534322……….etc with it.Then i select………

Missed call ………. Option,s…………Smart Dial option ………… there you can see all Country Area code list like ( +44,+43,+42. etc )depend on Country. That phone come from UK there are +44 selected on any call dial from phone +44 must added with it……………….I that Smart Dialing option you can see only ( 00 OR None of these ) option. You just have to select that option and save it.

After that your Country Area code adding problem should be solved till then u Restore all or Full reinstall software. without removing IT POLICY.
